  1. Why JSconf.co?
    JSConf Colombia is a non-profit international conference organized by volunteers from ColJS, an organization working to promote JavaScript and its growth in Colombia. This year’s conference will be a 2 day event in Medellin, Colombia on October 18 & 19th. We are expecting over 350 JavaScript experts. We already have registered guests coming from all over Colombia, United States, Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, and other Latin American countries.We are proud to be a part of the international community of JSConf, which has brought Javascripters experts to countries all around the world as far as China and Germany to as close as Argentina and Brazil.

  2. Reasons I should go to JSconf.co?

    • This is a great opportunity to hear talks from Javascripters without having to spend hundreds, or more like thousands of dollars, traveling to the US or Europe.
    • Connect and meet individuals from the growing community of JS from throughout Colombia, and even from the Latin American region.
    • Not only is JSconf.co a great networking opportunity, there will be many local and international companies looking to hire new talent.
  3. Will all the talks be in English or Spanish?
    There will be a combination of English and Spanish speakers, but we have taken on the service of a certified technical-speaking translators accessible through one of those cool individual headsets. There will be translations available English to Spanish and Spanish to English. When registering please indicate your interest in a headset. This will help us have a more accurate number of these available.

  4. JSConf.co is awesome! How do I sponsor a student in attending?
    Email us at hola@jsconf.co for a list of interested students. We all remember those students day of having limited cash.

  5. Do you have an employer letter?
    We have learned many want to attend, but could very much benefit from an employer letter. We will have one posted very soon.

  6. How can I continue to learn about JS after the conference?
    You should check out MedellinJSBogotaJS and CaliJS. These are active communities around JS working together to promote education throughout Colombia and the region. If you don't live in one of these cities, you should contact us about starting your cityJS and join the ColombiaJS network.
